Welcome
Litigation should constructively serve a client’s personal or business interests. For the sake of the client -- and the attorney -- representation should be pragmatic, efficient and economical.
I have handled complex commercial litigation for 43 years, mostly in my own and other boutique litigation firms. I am accustomed to the efficient, responsive and hands on approach offered by a small firm. I now bring my experience to bear on select matters serving clients directly and as an independent contractor helping law firms at any stage of the litigation process.
I have handled and tried cases across the broad range of business litigation including employment, antitrust, securities, and trade secret issues; contract, construction, real estate and tax disputes; officer/director liability, business divorce, accounting malpractice and breach of fiduciary duty claims; and fraudulent conveyance, successor liability, preference and casualty insurance issues in bankruptcy proceedings.
I have the experience and judgment to avoid unproductive litigation practices and to stay focused on what the client wants. I call it as I see it and objectively evaluate a case. My guiding principle is: be effective -- aggressive when necessary or conciliatory if conciliation is a two way street.
I believe that in arguing a point, less is often more. I believe that clarity and simplicity are the marks of excellence in written and oral advocacy.
